    Dr. Cynthia Bye, ND FABNO

    Standard of Care Oncology Recovery Plan

    Dr. Bye is a Naturopathic physician who is board certified in Naturopathic oncology and holds the FABNO designation. She has a private practice in downtown Vancouver, Washington for the past 18 years. She received her undergraduate degree in pre-med from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She had a 17-year corporate career in sales, marketing and business development before getting her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She completed her thesis on Breast cancer. She completed a residency at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa Oklahoma.

    Dr. Bye is a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO). She is on the advisory board of the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of SW WA and Oregon. She is a past board member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She has also been given the President’s Award for her contribution to the Naturopathic Oncology profession by the Oncology association of Naturopathic physician in 2018.

    Dr. Bye has developed and beta tested a practice transition model for retiring doctors to help new doctors to successfully take over their practice. This model is designed to create a win, win, win for patients, retiring and new doctors alike.

    Constipation: Subtypes and Pharmacotherapy

    Dr. Rebecca Sand is a naturopathic physician, acupuncturist, and educator based in Portland, Oregon. Her practice specializes in conditions of the microbiome, gut-brain axis, hormone systems, and fertility.

    Dr. Sand came to integrative medicine after spending 7 years in genetics and infectious disease research laboratories in the US and China to advance international collaboration in medicine. During this time, she also conducted field work training under traditional healers in Tibet, China, India, and Polynesia. Following her doctoral training, Dr. Sand went on to complete a 2-year post-graduate residency in integrative gastroenterology, reproductive health and fertility at Kwan Yin Healing Arts Center in Portland, OR.

    In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Sand teaches at the Wisdom Institute, the Aura Institute, and co-hosts the integrative gastroenterology podcast, The Turd Nerds.

    Mast Cells Effects on GI Health

    Crane Holmes is a Naturopathic Physician in Portland Oregon who specializes in treating patients with complex, chronic digestive disorders. He received his bachelors in Kinesiology at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a focus in nutrition and doctorate at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, OR in Naturopathic Medicine.

    He completed a two-year residency in primary care and gastroenterology and has since focused his private practice on intestinal dysbiosis, tick-borne illness, mast cell activation disorders, hypermobility disorders, and other types of gut-dysfunction. He is also the owner and clinical director of the SIBO Testing Center which specializes in lactulose breath testing for SIBO.

    Dr. Holmes is also a board member of the gastro association of Naturopathic physicians (GastroANP) and the chair of the naturopathic fellowship committee working on advancing the field of naturopathic gastroenterology by creating board-certified fellowships.

    Nuturing Minds: Understanding and Supporting Adolescent Mental Health in a Post Quarantine Landscape

    Dr. Leigh Ann Chapman provides comprehensive care for all aspects of family medicine. She has a special focus in pediatric developmental and psychiatric disorders. She provides integrative management of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, sensory integration disorders, ADHD, OCD, depression and anxiety. Dr. Chapman blends cutting edge biomedical protocols with conventional therapies to provide the most comprehensive plan for each and every child.

    Leigh Ann is an advocate and activist for the autism community serving on the board of the Autism Society of Oregon. She also serves on the editorial review committee for the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders.

    Dr. Chapman is currently involved in clinical research on autism. Her current research involves the assessment of superficial sensory nerve fibers in the skin of autistic children and aromatherapy for pre- procedural anxiety. Her past research participation has included glutathione replacement, Intranasal oxytocin and Vitamin D levels in families of children with autism.
